..... Ms. Smith has been teaching in Flint for 11 years. She graduated with honors and a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan. She spent 20 years managing a non-profit organization, then she returned to school and earned her Master's degree in Special Education (cognitive impairment) from Eastern Michigan University.
